Size: Amargasaurus grew to around 10 metres long.
Location known: South America, Argentina.
This dinosaur was quite bizarre, having long spines protruding from it's neck and along its back for unknown reasons - they may have been for a type of defence or most likely for display purposes... or even, possibly, a thermoregulatory purpose (if covered in skin).
