Spinosaurus skeleton

Meaning: Spinosaurus means 'Spiny Lizard'

Carnivore: It ate  other plant eating dinosaurs and large fish.

Age: Mid Cretaceous – around 95 million years ago.

Size: Spinosaurus was around 17 metres long and due to recent finds, possibly the longest killer dinosaur ever walk the planet.

Location known: North Africa
